Preparation and Usage
Cooking time: 17-19 minutes.
Makes: 9 brownies
Method: Oven
You will need: 1 medium egg, 50ml (approx. 3½ tbsp) cold water, 30g of softened unsalted butter, a 20cm (8 inch) greased and lined square or round cake tin.
Method:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C/ Fan 160°C/Gas 4.
2. Empty the brownie mix into a bowl, add 1 medium egg, 50ml (approx. 3½ tbsp) cold water and 30g of butter.
3. Using a spoon mix together all the ingredients to form a lumpy mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into the lined tin.
5. Bake in the centre of the oven for 19 minutes. For a gooey texture, reduce baking time to 17 minutes.
6. Leave to cool in the tin, cut into squares and serve.
