Preparation and Usage
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Method: Oven
Makes: 6 brownies
You Will Need:
1 medium egg, 50ml (approx. 3 1/2 tbsp) cold water, 30g softened unsalted butter, 1 x 20cm (8 inch) greased and lined square cake tin.
Method:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4.
2. Empty the brownie mix into a bowl, add 1 medium egg, 50ml (approx. 3 1/2 tbsp) cold water and 30g of softened unsalted butter.
3. Using a spoon mix together all the ingredients to form a lumpy mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into the lined tin.
5. Drizzle approximately half of the caramel sauce over the mixture.
6. Bake in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top, and decorate with the fudge pieces.
8. Leave to cool in the tin, cut into squares and serve.
