Preparation and Usage
The hourglass disappears and the Thermo-Signal® turns full red when the pan is perfectly preheated and ready to cook.Use & Care:Before first use, wash then wipe the coating with cooking oil.For efficiency, stability and to avoid burning the handle or the coating: centre your pan on a hob adapted to the diameter of its base (a trivet may be required).Cookware with a smaller base diameter compared to the induction hob size might not trigger induction heating technology.- To preserve the non-stick coating:- Overheating the pan may damage its non-stick properties or distort the base. Avoid overheating your cookware especially without food. Be careful when using a maximum heating position or booster function.- Never heat fat or oil to the extent that it burns and turns black.Do not overheat your cookware. Most metal utensil may be used, except knives, forks and whisks. Avoid using sharp-edged utensils. Slight surface marks or abrasions are normal and will not affect the performance of the non-stick coating. Oven safe up to 175 °C (350ºF/Gas mark 4) for a maximum of one hour. Not microwave safe.- Cleaning instructions:- Clean your whole pan with hot water, mild washing up liquid, and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive or aggressive cleaning products or detergents. For the base of your induction pan: dry it after each cleaning. A light blue or yellow colour can appear. It is natural, not dangerous and can be eliminated with a commercial cleaning product for stainless steel utensils, or with lemon juice or white vinegar. We recommend that you use an abrasive sponge only for the base.Dishwasher use: certain parts may become dulled and discolored due to the action of corrosive detergents. Our guarantee does not cover this type of wear.If dishwashing, use less caustic dishwashing detergents such as a pure liquid, gel or powder rather than the combination tablets or sachets as these can be very corrosive.
