Preparation and Usage

Remove outer packaging including the boneguard.

Oven

Instructions: Temperature: 190, 170, 5190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5 Place in a roasting tray and cover loosely with foil. For joint up to 4kg: Place in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for 55 minutes per kg plus 25 minutes. Remove foil for the final 20 minutes of cooking time. For joint over 4kg: Place in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for 55 minutes per kg plus 35 minutes. Remove foil for the final 20 minutes of cooking time. Once cooked, remove from oven, cover with foil and rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 32 to 49 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 days.
