Preparation and Usage

Do not defrost fish. Do not remove paper wrapping. In a 8 quart pot, place 2 carrots, peeled and cut in half, 2 small onions peeled and cut in quarters, 1/2 -3/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper (or to taste). Place gefilte fish loaf into the pot. Add enough water to cover fish loaf about 2 quarts. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer and continue cooking for 1 -1 1/2 hours. Serve chilledNote: To prevent paper from sticking to fish loaf, loosen the paper in the fish broth before chilling the loaf.Defrost 3 loaves of A&B Gefilte Fish. Grease 9" round or square baking pan. Spread 1 package evenly in pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs/ground nuts to cover. Spread Salmon loaf over bread crumbs/nuts. Cover salmon with bread crumbs/ground nuts. In a separate bowl, mix 3rd loaf of fish with lemon juice and spinach until evenly combined. Spread over salmon layer. Top with bread crumbs/ground nuts.Bake uncovered in preheated oven on 350°F for 1 hour.
