Preparation and Usage
Method: Oven
Makes: 6 cupcakes
You will need:
1 Medium Egg, 70ml (approx. 4 tbsp) water, 50g softened unsalted butter, cupcake or muffin tray
Method:
Cupcakes:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C /Gas 4.
2. Place the 6 cupcake cases into a cupcake or muffin tray.
3. Empty the cake mix sachet into a large bowl and add 1 medium egg and 4 tbsp (60ml) water and mix with an electric whisk for 1-2 minutes until combined.
4. Divide the mix equally between the cupcake cases and bake in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes until well risen.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Icing:
1. Empty the white icing mix sachet into a bowl add 50g softened unsalted butter and mix well until light and fluffy.
2. Once cooled top the cupcake with the buttercream.
3. Empty the chocolate flavour icing sachet into a bowl and add 1-2tsp (5-10ml) cold water, mix until smooth.
4. Using the sachet, cut a corner out and use as a piping bag to drizzle over the cupcakes.
5. Decorate further with the marshmallows.
