Oven

Instructions: Remove sleeve and film lid. Place sachet to one side. For best results remove foil pad underneath joint before cooking. No need to wash poultry before cooking. Place the duck in its foil tray on a roasting tin in the centre of a pre-heated oven. 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 1 hr 35 mins Baste during cooking. Drain excess fat (leaving roasting juices behind) then decant glaze for further: 10 minutes. Allow to rest for 30 minutes before carving.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 16 hours in the fridge. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Keep refrigerated below 4°C.
