Preparation and Usage
Serves: 4
Bubble & Squeak.
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Method: Hob or Oven
Ingredients:
Tesco Bubble & Squeak Seasoning; 800g leftover cooked vegetables e.g. roast potatoes, mash, parsnips, carrots, brussels sprouts, peas, red cabbage etc.;
40ml water
Method:
1. Weigh your vegetables and chop everything into 5mm-1cm pieces.
2. Add the Tesco Bubble & Squeak Seasoning, and the water and mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
3. Using your hands form 8 equal balls and flatten with the palms of your hands.
4. If frying, add 1tbsp oil to a frying pan and fry for 2 minutes each side on a medium heat. If baking, line a baking tray and cook for 15-20 minutes at 180°C.
To serve: Serve with your choice of accompaniments, such as, bacon, sausages, baked beans, fried eggs, toast etc.
