Preparation and Usage
Feeding GuidelinesWe recommend feeding Feedwell Puppy for the first 9 months of your dogs life before moving to one of our adult foods. The guidelines below are a starting point, every pup is slightly different and may require more or less feeding depending on it's breed, activity level and development stage.Breed Size: Small: 1-3 Months (daily feeding): 80-220 grams; 4-9 Months (daily feeding): 120-300 gramsBreed Size: Medium: 1-3 Months (daily feeding): 250-400 grams; 4-9 Months (daily feeding): 350-450 gramsBreed Size: Large: 1-3 Months (daily feeding): 400-500 grams; 4-9 Months (daily feeding): 450-600 gramsBreed Size: Giant: 1-3 Months (daily feeding): 450-750 grams; 4-9 Months (daily feeding): 700-1000 gramsIntroducing Feedwell Puppy:When introducing your pup to the Feedwell Puppy recipe, when weaning, start by feeding small amounts soaked in hot water, leave to cool to a safe temperature and mash to a porridge consistency if required. Gradually increase the number and amount of feeds to four per day. Feeding guide (approximate per day) as your puppy grows you may require to up the feed in due course.Your puppy may also enjoy eating the kibble dry. Always ensure there is plenty of fresh water for your pup at all times when feeding.
