Baked vanilla flavour cheesecake on a digestive biscuit base with a sachet of demerara sugar.Inspired by the classic crème brûlée but with a twist. Our chefs have taken inspiration from the classic crème brûlée dessert and created this hybrid dessert by slowly baking this Madagascan vanilla custard cheesecake with an added caramel crunchy topping.Baked vanilla custard cheesecake, with a sugar sachet for a crisp finish at home.

Preparation and Usage

Preparation guidelines1. Carefully remove the cheesecake and sugar sachet from the box.2. Loosen the cheesecake from the edge of the pot.3. Carefully push the cheesecake up through the hole in the centre and remove the pot.4. Slide the cheesecake off the board onto a baking tray.5. Sprinkle the sugar sachet evenly on top of the cheesecake.6. Place under a pre-heated grill on high heat, for approximately 2 minutes, until the sugar caramelises, monitor closely to not over grill.7. Remove from the grill and leave to cool for 2 minutes until the sugar has hardened.

Grill

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated.
