The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is vinified at a low temperature so to help retain the zingy lemon and lime flavours of this Sauvignon Blanc.

Wairau Cove is created by master winemakers from the magnificent vineyards of Marlborough in New Zealand's South Island - a perfect natural climate to make great tasting wine.

Regional Information

Surrounded by ocean and mountains, Marlborough is blessed with blissful weather, with the free draining stony soils, long days of sunshine and a relatively cool climate. Those long dry days, contrasted with crisp cool nights, helped vintners extend the ripening period for their grapes, creating a bit of magic. Marlborough is now famous the world over for its zingy, grassy and herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc - it's our taste of summer in a glass.
