Preparation and Usage

Kit contains:

✓ Biryani Paste

✓ Biryani Seasoning

 

Shopping list / Ingredients to buy:

300g boneless chicken thigh fillets

20g Greek style yogurt

1 small red onion

1 basmati microwave rice pouch

2 tbsp butter.

 

Method:   

1. Slice the onion into half moons, fry in butter in a casserole dish on a low heat.
2. Once golden brown, add half the Biriyani seasoning and fry for 1 minute, remove onions from the pan and place to one side.
3. Add the diced chicken into the pan with the paste, yogurt and remaining seasoning. Fry until the chicken is cooked through.
4. Cover the chicken with the rice, place a lid on top and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes.
5. Carefully remove the lid, place the cooked onions on top. Mix well and serve.
