Oven

Instructions: 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas 5 30 mins per 500g plus 30 mins Remove joint from packaging and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting. Place joint in a roasting tin and pat the rind dry with kitchen paper. Rub rind with a little oil, season generously with salt and cover with foil. Cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven. Remove from oven and allow to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes before carving.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 2 days and by 'use by' date shown.
