It all started with my mother Elizabeth (locally known as Betty) baking shortbread and oatcakes to her own handed down recipes, for local friends and family, who soon became her dedicated customers. Our first bakery was in the forest at the foot of the Cairn O'Mount mountain in Royal Deeside and although we have now moved to the other side of the mountain very few things have changed.Our hand baked products are now enjoyed further afield - from Aberdeen to Adelaide in Australia.
