Preparation and Usage

Just add fresh ingredients!Rediscover the simple pressure of home cookingJust add, serves 2- 140g basmati rice- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced- 2 small shallots, finely sliced- 1 carrot, cut into small cubes- 2 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips- 1 eggTo serve 4, add more fresh ingredientsOptional extras1 pack of cooked prawnsMeat-free swapsSwap chicken/prawns for chopped green beansUsing our flavour pots...1 Make some tangy cucumbers with the Chilli Pickle Mix2 Fry the chicken & veg with the Nasi Goreng Paste3 Stir fry the rice in with the sweet Ketjap Manis drizzleNasi Goreng1. Cook the rice and pickle the cucumber- Boil the rice in a pan of water for 8 mins or until almost cooked, then drain and rinse with water.- Meanwhile, put the 1 Chilli Pickle Mix in a bowl with 1 tbsp of water and the cucumber. Mix well and put aside.2. Start the Nasi Goreng- Heat a little oil in a frying pan (or wok) and fry the shallots for 2-3 mins until golden, then remove and put aside.- Next, fry the carrot and the chicken for 4-5 mins.- Add the 2 Nasi Goreng Paste and the prawns (optional) and fry for 2 more mins.3. Fry the egg- Push the mixture to the side of the pan and crack the egg into the space. Scramble it until it's almost done, then stir it all together.- Add the cooked rice and half of the 3 Ketjap Manis and fry for 2 mins.Serve!Drizzle the rest of the Ketjap Manis over the rice, sprinkle with fried shallots and serve with the cucumber on the side.Consume this dish immediately after preparation.
