Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: For best results pan fry. Remove all packaging. Allow steaks to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.CautionThis product contains raw meat. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantNot suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Ensure product is cooked thoroughly until all juices run clear and there is no raw meat inside. Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Heat some oil in a pan for 2-3 minutes until hot. Cook steaks in the pan on a high heat for 1 minute on each side. For rare steak remove from the pan. Reduce to a medium heat and continue to cook for a further 1 minute (medium) or 2 minutes (well done), turning once. Remove the steaks from the pan and allow to rest on a warm plate for 2 minutes before serving.2-4 mins

Air Fry

Instructions: Based on minimum 3.8 litre capacity air fryer. Pre-heat air fryer. Lightly oil the underside of the steaks. Place 2 steaks in the air fryer in a single layer. Cook for 7 minutes (medium) or for 10 minutes (well done), turning halfway through cooking time. Allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving.200°C, 7-10 minsCautionDo not overfill the air fryer.

Barbecue

Instructions: Barbecue for a chargrilled barbecue effect, cook as per cooking guidelines above, then place on the barbecue, turning frequently until desired chargrilled appearance is achieved.
