Preparation and Usage

Just add fresh ingredients!Rediscover the simple pleasure of home cookingJust add, serves 2- 3 chicken thigh fillets cut into bite-sized pieces- 120g basmati rice- 50g plain yoghurt- a knob of butter- 50ml double cream- 1 onion finely chopped- 300g passataTo serve 4, add more fresh ingredientsOptional extrasCoriander finely choppedMeat-free swapsSwap chicken for broccoli floretsUsing our flavour pots...1 Roast the chicken in the Tikka Spice Blend marinade2 Make the curry sauce with the Makhani Curry Paste3 Stir the chicken into the sauce with butter and Fenugreek LeavesChicken Makhani1. Get prepped- Preheat the oven to 200C / fan 180C / gas 6.- Cook the rice according to pack instructions.- Mix the chicken with the 1 Tikka Spice Blend and the yoghurt in a bowl, then arrange on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15 mins, or until cooked through.2. Make the curry base- Heat a little oil in a pan over a medium-high heat, then fry the onion for 5-7 mins, or until golden.- Stir in the 2 Makhani Curry Paste.- Mix in the passata, then simmer over a low heat.3. Finish the sauce- Stir the roasted chicken into the curry along with the 3 Fenugreek Leaves.- Turn the heat down to low and add the butter and cream. Stir until the butter has melted.Serve!Serve the curry over rice with a sprinkle of coriander (optional).
