Ingredients

Wheat Flour [with Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Beetroot Juice Concentrate (4%), Salt, Firming Agents (Sodium Carbonate, Potassium Carbonate), Acidity Regulators (Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid)

Allergy Information

  • May also contain Peanuts and Nuts. For allergens, including Cereals containing Gluten, see ingredients in bold.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place.Once opened, store in an airtight container.

Cooking Instructions

Boil
Instructions: Bring a pan of water to the boil then remove from the heat, alternatively boil some water using a kettle then pour into a bowl.
Simmer: Drop the noodle nests into the boiled water and soak for 6 minutes or if stir frying 5 minutes, stir frequently to separate noodles.
Drain: Drain and serve immediately or add straight to the wok to stir fry.

NOT Free From

Although we were greatly looking forward to noodles after all this time we were most disappointed to find once we had received them that although there are certain things these noodles are free from, Wheat ain't one of them. Perhaps this should be highlighted on Blue Dragon Noodles as wheat allergy is one of the most prevalent and anyone expecting wheat free noodles should look elsewhere.

Absolutely delicious but *** NOT SUITABLE FOR COELIACS *** This is a wheat based product and not gluten-free, I shall be contacting Tesco and asking them to remove it from the Free From aisle and place it in the aisle for mainstream products, but in the meantime please DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE GLUTEN INTOLERANT We tried these noodles just for a change and have to say they have a really lovely earthy taste, so if you like beetroot and aren't avoiding gluten, do try them!

Added them to a veggie stir fry tonight and they completely changed the flavour from my usual stir fry. I really enjoyed them and will be adding them to my basket again next time I shop.
