Avoid, Unless You Like Gristle
I can safely say that this is the worst lasagne I've ever had. The meat is mostly gristle and inedible, and it's is a very runny 'gravy'. Not like a lasagne at all. Avoid at all costs.
avoid at all cost
This has to be to the worse lasagne i have ever seen and tasted. It was a funny colour, glupy and tasted soo bad that my entire family including myself threw it away.
Full of grissel and if you pick out the pasta and leave rest its ok. never buy again.
Worst I've ever had.
This is without doubt the worst lasagne I have ever tasted, in fact I threw most of it in the bin after tasting a few mouthfuls. Having had a poor appetite for many months due to ill health, I fancied a old favourite - lasagne - and decided to get a 'good' one. Big mistake. The ingredients listed 'pork sausage' and very little beef; I certainly could not taste anything beefy. It was sickly, bland, salty and even in the few mouthfuls I tried, I found chewy bits of gristle - absolutely (pricey) horrible mush.
Frozen lasagne that tastes freshly prepared
I bought this lasagne from Tesco Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, today and cooked it when I got home. I can honestly say that it was, by far, the best frozen lasagne I have ever eaten. I cooked it in the oven, as per the instructions on the packaging, and it genuinely tasted like a fresh cooked lasagne. Over never heard of the brand before, but the packaging piqued my interest because it wasn't overly flashy or trying to grab your attention, like cheaper brands do. Almost as if they'd put all the effort into the actual product instead of putting all their budget into the packaging instead of the food. It cooked through evenly and there was no cold spots, or extremely hot spots. Just a nice even temperature throughout. The taste was flavoursome and full all the way through. I highly recommend it. It's slightly more expensive than some of the own brands, but you will not be disappointed if you try it.
