OK not as good as it used to be...
OK not as good as it used to be won't be buying again probably. I notice no longer Aberdeen Angus
I put this on my order for the first time, last time, and as it was tender, with very little waste, I'll buy it again. However, I don't know what this fashion for pan-frying steak is all about, unless it's poorer quality, hence is cut thinner and labelled 'frying steak'. My husband, myself, our parents, and all our friends were brought up to grill prime steak, which is what I did, and it was fine..
Great taste and tender.
These were outstanding I thought. Leave out of fridge for twenty minutes or so and as ever with steak, get the pan good and hot and fire them in. Mine were delicious.
Very good quality
Excellent quality. Not too much fat or gristle. Couldn't have chosen better myself. Considerable time until best before date. At least 10 days and one pack nearly a fortnight. Well done to the picker.
Tender and scummy
Had this twice - in March and early May for birthdays. Delicious both times. Had with mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, petite pois peas, peppercorn sauce, crinkle chips and French mustard. Yummy!
I've bought these many times - never disappointed. I love them.
Is it British?
I used to buy it when it had a Union Jack, but not sure where it comes from now, so won't buy again until I know.
It's a 'Yes' from me!!
Having tried the whole range of Tesco steaks...... these are the best by far.
My husband and myself think this is the most tender and tastiest steak we have eaten . We have as a roast dinner or just with home made chips with your lovely Maria Piper potatoes. Your steak beats all the other stores. Tesco's meat has always been good even back in the 60's and 70's and since.
Wouldn't buy again.
Husbands piece very nice, unfortunately mine absolutely full of fat and gristle just couldn't eat it went in bin. Very disappointed.
