I can't understand all the negative reviews, I put this in my slow cooker covered with boiling water, a stock cube and sliced onions and cooked overnight on high (my slow cooker is old) So it probably cooked for around 8 hours, definitely worth it as it was amazingly tender and very tasty. Highly recommend you buy a "Guinness Steak and Ale Pie Mix" (sachet) and add when meat is done. The best steak pie I've ever made!
Tough as old boots!!
Not very lean, large lumps of fat in it.Browned off then put in slow cooker 2 hours high and 6 low. Wasn't at all tender. Three most off it in the bin.
would not buy again
poor! full of fat and gristle
Tough as old boots.
Was supposed to be lean, but was tough as old boots.
The beef was nice but there was it was not Lean! There was 73G of suet bits neatly cut off the Beef put back into the package. Why? So had to put almost 1 third of my beef suet in the bin.
Great for slow cooker
Sealed it, put in the slow cooker with some casserole veg, and a Beef and Ale sauce. Very tasty
Great if you like veins and fat.
Possibly the worst diced beef I have ever bought. Full of fatty lumps and veins. Usually buy the Boswell farms beef which is cheaper and never had an issue! Cannot understand why it was so awful, Disgusting.
If this is lean the standard one must be all fat.
Required a good deal of trimming to actually make it fit it's description on the label. Like with almost all Tesco's 'fresh' produce the standards have dropped very significantly. If they had a customer relations line I'd be calling them. Seriously thinking of using a competitor when my delivery saver expires
No not good quality, full of fatty lumps, can’t eat it have to throw it. I had it through click and collect, won’t have it again unless I shop

I used this beef for a stew and found it to be very fatty and gristly. I will never buy it again, I am very disappointed with Tesco as I normally find there meat to be very good .
