Monitoring throughout the cycle of each plot and harvesting at the optimum moment. Fermentation in stainless steel at a mild temperature and aging in American oak barrels for 3 months.

History

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao was founded in 1924 in the town of Haro, Wine Capital of Rioja. Today we have 265 ha of our own vineyards, split between Rioja and Rueda, plus another 900 ha which we control in the main quality districts of the D.O.Ca Rioja and the D.O. Rueda. For this task we have a team of viticulture specialists which works with respect for the land and tends the vines using natural methods. Their love of wine above all else, combined with a non-conformist spirit which can be seen in the innovation and the new way of looking at the “Terroir”, has managed to surprise critics and consumers, becoming an oenological point of reference around the world and making their wines the biggest sellers in Spanish bars and restaurants. All our vineyards are located in singular spots around the appellation and stand out for their height and closeness to mountain slopes.
