I just wish you could put a zero in the rating, I like some of the plant chef products, particularly the beef roast and steak, but these were awful, so tasteless and tasted a bit chemically - sorry, they ended up in the bin.

Nice enough!

4 stars

Used in a curry, it went quite soft and wasn't particularly beefy, but it was definitely adequate! Would buy again, even though it is much higher in fat & calories than other brands!

I was just going to make stroganoff with these so cooked them off with paprika, I tasted one and it was the second most disgusting thing I'd ever tasted, the first being plant chef roast which I tried the week before Christmas as a tryout for Christmas dinner. It's the same stuff but cut up, it is tasteless but with a strange flavour of you get my meaning. The texture is like sponge it's not palatable in any way. Are all the plant chefs meat eaters? Is this the best they can do? I think it's a case of they're only veggie/Vegan it'll do. Well quite frankly Tesco it won't do and I shan't be buying any more or this rubbish. P.S. I had to put a star as it wouldn't let me post without.
