Excellent stesk good flsvour & tender steak is always a gamble but the piece we had was A1
I buy this every week
Good value for money. Can be a bit chewy, but that's not unusual with steak. Try adding a sprig of rosemary - it's amazing. And serve with Bearnaise Sauce - when Tesco start stocking it again.
Beware 5 star rating
We bought this because it had 5 stars? Totally ridiculous ! After two minutes cutting through the sinuses another five minutes chewing one piece, this pieces of meat stayed on our plate until they went in the bin. The clever wording Medallion and Steak are generic. The word 'steak' here means the shape, similar to fish steak. This appears to be a Tesco 'roasting joint' which again is not a cut of meat, but a fabrication cut into a number of slices. Stay well away from both.

If you cook these to about medium-rare and be generous with salt, it tastes fantastic. It also isn't chewy, like I would expect from cheap steak. They're also very lean. I'm very impressed by these steaks, considering you get so much for such a low price.
Excellent quality. Used both in hotpot and braised with mash/roast and veg . Delicious, economic meals from these.
Delicious excellent value for money.
Just had these steaks for dinner tonight fantastic price didn’t expect them to be as good as they were,I would definitely buy these again and recommend to family and friends they were delicious.
Very versatile and very reasonably priced
These are brilliant for any beef dish - i.e. Stew, casserole, chopped fine for cornish pasties. I make delicious Mexican Beef served with rice. I am very disappointed that I can no longer get them.
