Not upto the usual standard
Unfortunately theses steaks were not the usual quality I have bought. I had 3 packs with 2 steaks in each and we all found them rather tough. Such a shame as previously they have been excellent.
Too much like poor quality braising steak
There was far too much fat and gristle, this is like bad braising steak. I bought it to use in a casserole and had to throw half of it away. Only one was a nice lean steak, out of the eight I bought. Several had a huge bit of gristle on the back (well hidden, Tesco!), like the tough outside of a cheap joint, Very disappointing, I'm glad I only wanted them to casserole, as only one would have done as steak, and they needed such a long slow cook to be tender enough to eat.
Bought these steaks to use in a stroganoff. They were delicious and tender. Will definitely buy again

Great for stir fry cut thin, I always use expensive steak but these are just as good, as they are flash fried it hasn't got time to be dry and tough, already ordered more.

Excellent value for money.
Had these a few times now. First time I made a curry with them as I was doubtful of the quality for just seasoning and frying it up. Was lovely in the curry so last couple of times, I had them as I would usually cook a medium rare steak. Was it one of the best I have ever had?...certainly not. Can't say I have had better steaks working out at less than 2 quid each though. Nice and lean, no waste, pretty tender and tasty. Will keep buying at this price!
Poor quality and not value for money.
One of these was quite lean but the second was literally a slice of fat and could not be eaten. This was not noticeable in the packaging because it was hidden under the good one !!
Very good reasonably priced beef. I use them every week to make a stroganoff in my slow cooker. Slow cook on low or medium setting with mushrooms and beef stock. Add cream at the end. Very good cheap meal.
