Excellent. Made beef pie

Shocking quality.
In a word, VILE.
Not suitable for coeliacs
Why does it have to have wheat instead of cornflour so that it is ok for coeliacs
A mush of shredded meat
The picture on the tin shows chunks of meat. What we found was a mush of shredded meat with not one chunk of meat.

Avoid!
In a word, disgusting. Very little meat of low quality and foul taste in a fatty "gravy" that tastes synthetic. Even school meals were better than this. It's a complete contrast to the quality and value of the other similar own-label tins at £1.60 e.g. the chicken in white sauce, chicken curry, chicken jalfrezi etc.
Find the meat
As with all tins of stewed steak this is mainly gravy with a few tiny slithers if so called steak. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I remember when tins of stewed steak actually had a decent amount of meat in them. Sadly I won't be buying the tins anymore and will prefer to make my own stewed steak even if it at a extra cost.
Tesco stewed steak
I have been buying this stewed steak for a long time as it makes a quick, easy meal. The last can I opened, however, was mostly fat & gristle and absolutely awful. More quality control needed!
Delicious
We often have this stewed steak, its really meaty, no gristle or fat and the gravy is lovely. We have it pies or a stew. No mess or pre cooking, saves on the gas/electric.
AWFUL FOR TINNED STEWED STEAK...
This was sent to me as a substitute for what I'd ordered. It is by far the worst tinned stewed steak that I have ever had. It ought to be removed from the shelf.
