Shockingly limp and soft after just one day! Not fresh at all.
Delivered rotten
Quality varies. The bag I had delivered last week were varying in size, but the worst thing was they were rotting, slimy and smelt, so they all went straight in the bin. That said, bags I have had previously have been OK. I informed Tesco; their customer service was very good and they immediately refunded me. However, in order to resolve the issue for the future, I feel they need to find an alternative to the plastic packaging, as apart from not being very environmentally friendly, it causes the veg to 'sweat', making them go off quickly. A shame, as you would expect British parsnips to be relatively fresh.
Must do better and the pickers paying attention.
All the bags should look like the ones you advertise , I have ordered the last couple of times and ended up with two huge ones in the bag.
Yuck!
I ordered this product through click and collect. There was no use by date on the bag. The parsnips were old, rotting and a slimy liquid was seeping out of the bag. They went straight in the bin.
Amazing 👏. 👏
Delicious parsnips and sprouts. Full of flavour and sprouts remain whole without falling apart. Fresh and tasty. 10/10.
Big portions
Don't know what the others have had in their bags but mine were all large and looked fresh. I fried some in butter after dripping honey on them. Cooked in minutes and very delicious. Will make some trimmings with the tesco carrots and cabbage on christmas day.
Waste of money.
Most of the parsnips were old, soft and off. Waste of money. Don't waste yours. Only worthy of the bin.
