Tasteless, bland, no sign of 'southern' taste whatsoever. Coating was thin and almost non existant, heavy mushy texture, disappointing as other Linda McCartney products are great, won't be buying these again though.
Will not buy again
The flavour was not bad but I really did not like the texture of this at all. It was too thick and squishy. They went in the bin half eaten.
dont buy these
these were a horrible texture and taste, not made for vegetarians i don't think
These were awful. I couldn't even finish one. A very thick, mushy texture in a very oversized burger. They tasted too realistic and far too chunky. Even covered in vegan mayo and ketchup I couldn't eat them. Major disappointment. No idea what to do with the other one 😬
Teasteless! Bread has more flavour!
After enjoying Quorn Southern Style and hot and spicy burgers, we had high hopes for these. LMcC Quarterpounders - awesome. These were dire. I made a sandwich and all I could taste was bread and the blend of vegan mayo and tomato purée I’d put on it. Bland, tasteless waste of money. I’m not sure who tested these and thought they were fit to take to market, but they definitely got it wrong. Good news in helping us cut back on processed food as I’m guessing the box they came in would have tastier! Truly terrible!
Nice, plus lots of protein
I'm surprised by all the bad reviews, I really like these and the amount of protein in them is a bonus.
These were the worst burgers we have ever tried. Soggy, mushy, tasteless.
Shame on me for not listening to the reviews . I thought this would taste like the vegan kfc burger but BOIII was I wrong. It was so dry and tasteless . Probably the worst vegan burger iv ever had .
Sadly, a miss...
So disappointed, these are essentially the same flavour texture as the LM sausages just with a coating. I hoped these would be similar to the Quorn southern burgers, sadly not. Hopefully these will undergo some more refinement.
Tasty and high protein
These are great, and at 21g of protein per burger they almost cover a whole meal's protein requirements themselves. The coating is crispy, the inside is pretty much like any other chicken replacement (e.g. Quorn) but perhaps a little softer.
