Easy to dispose of when you can't eat it.
Loose jelly like consistency not much meat flavour yuck. Best feature, can easily be broken up and flushed away. Amazingly some people claim to like eating this.
Tasty, but fatty. May be better cooked on a rack.
This would have received 5 stars if it was just for taste alone, but what spoils it for me is the huge amount of fat which comes from it, and leaves it soggy even when thoroughly cooked. I am going to try it once more, but will cook it on a rack to see if that helps drain the fat off.
Nice meat loaf.
Tried this meat loaf a couple of weeks and wasn't expecting much to be truthful, but was pleasantly surprised ! The meat loaf itself is very tasty, but the gravy, yuck, my husband and I both hated it - it was the most vile taste - glad I tasted it first before spreading it on the meat loaf ! However, we just got rid of the gravy and used regular gravy instead. Cant understand why the gravy is so awful!! But, as I say, other than that, it tastes very good.
GRIM AND GROSS
One word GROSS. Nothing good about this at all. The 1 star was so I could write a review. The fat running out of this was enough to make me feel sick. Just a giant lump of poor quality burger . The whole lot went into the bin. I feel sick just thinking about it
Utter rubbish - avoid due to bad design
As with many other purchasers, the problem with this item is that the accompanying gravy plastic sachet is put in with the frozen meat. As a result, it's frozen to the meat. Given that you're supposed to cook the meat separately and then add the gravy afterwards the product simply doesnt work. I spent a good 10 minutes pouring hot water over it trying to separate the sachet, to no avail. It's clear no one has actually tested this product prior to sale
Excellent Mid week dinner!
Tried this for dinner last night and loved it!! full of flavour and the gravy went very well with my Mash!!
The sachet of gravy was welded stuck to the meat, had to pry it off before I could cook the meat. It does shrink a lot, you'll get 2 maybe 3 servings. However when I tried to cut it t just fell apart. The meatloaf tasted good but was more like mush than slices. After reading previous reviews I didn't bother with the supplied gravy sachet. Overall average.
never tried it but I don't trust the gravy so I am
never tried it but I don't trust the gravy so I am making my own
Funky sauce meat loaf
The meat shrinks quite a bit and the gravy has a strange tangy taste to it. It is not a onion gravy that I recognise! Really disappointed I was hoping it would be similar to the meat loaf Tesco sold years ago
Ok ish but like others said the sachet of gloop was stuck to the meat so I had to run it under a hot tap to dislodge it. Never bothered with the sauce either as smelled odd. To be honest you are better off buying frozen faggots as they are much cheaper and tastier.
