As good as the real thing - I think
the best vegan slices I have tasted. Loads better than quorn. Not sure how close to the real thing but casting my mind back to being a meat eater I think they are quite close
I have been trying out some of the great veggie and vegan options that TESCO have to offer lately and was intrigued by these slices. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The flavour is peppery and good in a sandwich. They're quite thin and have a slightly different texture, not thick and clammy like the quorn usually is, it feels nice in your mouth. It made a good sandwich with pickles mustard and some peppery leaves, I will be buying them again. I think they would go great on a veggie charcuterie board with some cheese and crackers too.
I can't compare to real pastrami, but it's tasty!
Not sure I've ever had actual pastrami, but I really like these. Good flavour & texture - meaty yet tender. Great in a sandwich or as a snack by itself. Also my cat tried to eat them, which I take as an endorsement from a carnivore.
Tastes exactly like Pastrami but plant based which is great. This is a really tasty sandwich filler especially when used with salad and mayo or with Applewood smoked cheese on toasted bread, very yummy! In fact, I think this is my favourite so far.
NOT meat. It's beetroot.
It's not meat. They should give these fake meat products another name, not deceptively call something pastrami, when it's nothing of the sort. This product should be called "chickpea and beetroot slices" because that it what it is.
Amazingly tasty 😋
Oh wow this is absolutely lush 😍 I have recently stopped eating meat and this range of alternatives is amazing. I can seriously say I do not miss meat and wish I had made the change before now.

I can highly recommend these as a substitute for meat. They have a great spicy taste and are really nice with the Applewood Vegan cheese.
Try on a bagel, Oatly spread, gherkins and mustard
Amazing. I toast a NY Bakery Co sesame seed bagel, put flora salted plant butter on there, then some Oatly plain “cheese” spread, two slices of this pastrami, some sliced gherkins and a squirt of French’s yellow mustard! Heaven!!!
Best meat substitute
This is the best meat substitute I have eaten and I have tried them all. I can't remember what real pastrami tasted like as I rarely ate it but this tastes great. The chicken one didn't taste like chicken and the ham was ok, my husband liked it. I will be buying the pastrami every week.

I thought this tasted nice, however, I can't compare this to pastrami as I'm 60% vegetarian, 40% pescatarian. I bought this for my son who does eat meat, mostly chicken. Unfortunately, he was not keen and said "don't buy it again because he could taste the beetroot", (he's not a beetroot fan), but I am and I couldn't taste the beetroot. I do recommend this meat free pastrami, but I won't be buying it for myself as I don't like meat free products that look or taste like meat, especially red meat.
