Great cupboard staple.
I love Salmon, but where I live it's not always easy to buy fresh. Sweet chilli is also one of my favourite sauces, and the two go together really well. What impressed me the most was the fact that when I opened the tin, I was greeted by an actual fillet of Salmon, rather than flakes molded into shape. That's not to say there won't be some tins where that occurs, but it was a pleasant surprise to find a recognisable fillet. I have eaten this both warmed up and cold, and enjoyed it both hot and cold. Is it as good as fresh Salmon? No, tinned never is, for example, when served with something like rice it can be a bit dry, but it's far better than nothing, and I have stocked up my cupboards knowing it will be used in my meal plans on a regular basis. Next I plan on trying out using the contents to make up some fish cakes, I think it should work out well.
