Product Description

  • Cognac
  • "Courvoisier de Luxe" cognac is inspired by the spirit of the Paris golden age, famous for its blend of art, glamour and decadence. Double maturation helps to achieve rich and complex notes of vanilla and dried fruits.
  • Courvoisier de Luxe is encouraged to be enjoyed neat due to its elegant oak finish, and is also delicious with a simple mixer, garnished with an orange or lemon wedge for a refreshing finish.
  • Celebrate the Moments
  • As you would expect from the brand that toasted the Grand Opening of the Eiffel Tower in 1889, Courvoisier® is the perfect choice to celebrate special occasions.
  • Producing Courvoisier® is a delicate Blend of Art and Science that combines old techniques with new technologies. Courvoisier® remains the only Cognac house to control the entire process from grape to glass. Nurturing close relationships with over 800 vine growers ensures the grapes used to make our Cognac are the finest from the Cognac region.
  • The House of Courvoisier celebrates an Art of Making that realises the potential of each ingredient, so that every part of the process can be tasted. This revelatory experience is rooted in our deep respect for the rich blessings of the Cognac region, where our art of making is all about harnessing, liberating and revealing the spirit found in our terroir, cru and woods. The result is an exuberant cognac infused with the life and joy of the Cognac region and its people.

I have become a bit of a Cognac Connoisseur over the last thirty years. I started with VS, then .V.O.S.P, I even tried the Tesco XO. I have been drinking the Courvoisier V.O.S.P Since it has been a good price at 26 pounds. All very nice Cognacs. Then I tried this Courvoisier DE LUXE. It is ok and please try it, but not for me. I wonder how old this DE LUXE is. Can it be equivalent to maybe an X.O Cognac?... I did try the XO Tesco Cognac. Not bad but for a good price and really smooth I will keep to the Courvoisier V.O.S.P. So I will say this DE LUXE is a little harsh for me.
