I wanted a great tasting alternative to butter that was not in a plastic tub. This is it and great it is too!
tastes just like butter and good for the planet
Absolutely lovely, you will be amazed how good it is
Great for buttercream icing
I struggle to make dairy free butter icing for cakes, usually margarine seems to split & doesn't look great. This plant butter worked brilliantly, it made a nice thick buttercream easy to pipe, looked & tasted great.
Taste not very nice like cheap margarine at real butter price !
Poor alternative offering to Flora buttery (which they inexplicably re-added buttermilk to). It doesn't work as well as real butter or as spreads for cooking or baking. Just a cash in for the dairy free market while they add dairy to their products that were great without.
Will order and try to bake with it because of the
Will order and try to bake with it because of the reduced carbon footprint. But thinking of it, if it saves 220 times charging your mobile or 50% of Carbon emissions, it also produced that much for one block. Broken down to your average portion of spread for breakfast that makes your toast worth 22 times charging your phone, plus all the other things that come with it. At least they make an effort and make us aware of our impact on the planet! Please do not waste.
Try this on GF Crumpets⭐️
Loved this...haven’t eaten butter for ages...this is the best plant based substitute. Good for spreading, cooking and baking. Brilliant on Gluten free crumpets.
Only 7 days shelf life beware
doesn't taste too bad but only had 7 days shelf life. Who can eat butter that quickly = used it for cooking. Will not buy again
Surprised!! This is MORE than just edible, its difficult to tell it from butter. This has really made up for some vegan stuff which tastes like cardboard (ie the cheese stuff!). But this is really incredibly good. Try it yourself and see. Well done Flora.
