This popular, pure-fruit style has been made by Vasse Felix since 1987. It is zesty, fresh and crisp.
Fresh with a mouthwatering, crisp acidity. Ripe fruit flavours of kiwifruit, lemongrass and gooseberry bring sweetness through the core, complementing a beautiful dry finish.

Vinification Details

A classic Margaret River blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Semillon's citrus and floral notes are complemented by the tropical passionfruit aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc. These varieties are picked at reasonably low baumé, capturing fine high-note aromas, crisp primary fruit flavours and good acid structure. This wine was made without the use of oak to preserve pure fruit expression.

History

This popular, pure-fruit style has been made by Vasse Felix since 1987. Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate and was established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity. All wines are estate-grown in Vasse Felix's four Margaret River vineyards then estate-made and bottled within its state-of-the-art wine making facility.

Regional Information

Vasse Felix wines reflect the strengths of Margaret River. Each parcel of fruit is vinified with minimal intervention and bottled within a modern winery. Each vineyard is matched to the best possible varieties and clones, and farmed sustainably using traditional and organic practices. By nurturing the soils, Vasse Felix achieve better plant health and balance which leads to higher quality fruit.
