Product Description

  • Red Wine
  • This label is an original painting by Hauke Vagt - he is a rather eccentric German painter, spending his summers with the tourists on the streets in Lisbon. We found this some time ago and absolutely had to put it on a bottle. He has no mobile phone and is not an easy guy to reach, but finally here it is.
  • An iconic image from Lisbon.
  • A wine dominated by soft ripe berries, with a full rich mid palate, completed by a balance of acidity to soften the finish. A wine to be enjoyed with friends.
  • Grape Varieties:
  • 50% Tinta Roriz, 40% Castelão and 10% Touriga Nacional
  • Pack size: 750ML

Very easy wine to enjoy. Its even nice with food !

Such a nice wine to drink, its one of the best red wines that Ive tasted in a long time. There is none of the dry or sharp taste that you can sometimes experience and try to convince yourself that it tastes nice. This is an outstanding wine , so I tried to get some more from my local Heswall branch, only to find it had all gone. So Tesco please stock some more in Heswall.

Used to be so much better...what happened?

This wine used to be very good. This latest batch must be off because it is now sharp, bitter and leaves a nasty after taste. I was embarrassed to serve this and disappointed

Horrible wine, not very pleasant on the nose. Initial taste is okay at best with a horrid bitter finish that lingers. Horrid wine pay an extra £5 and get yourself a nice bottle of Valpolicella or a nice Primitivo. Wouldn’t give this to my worst enemy

Bought for me along with others for Father’s Day, just opened it last night, a very pleasant drinkable wine, had with cheese and pate, usually I drink mainly Chilean reds which I find are very good value but this Portuguese one was equal to those. Will try another few bottles in the future.

This is a fabulous red, we’ve introduced so many people to it. Lovely to see Tescos selling it.

A lovely berry fruit flavour, not too full bodied, but light and refreshing. One of the tastiest wines I've ever had, especially for the price.

Loved the wine, loved the label

To Tesco customer 10th October 2 stars....I'll have your second bottle! But seriously, I bought it for the interesting label knowing nothing about the wine and it was good! Warm, rich, covered all those parts of your tongue that need to be covered (I've no idea how to do a wine tasting review) and I really enjoyed it. Excellent value when it's on 25% offer.

Tasted and looked past its best.

Tasted over the top and had an almost brown tinge to it. Very disappointing. I wondered if that was why it was on offer.
