Preparation and Usage

For best results once cooked, carve using a sharp knife.

Secure a chopping board by placing on top of a damp cloth.

To carve, slice with a sharp knife in line with the scored crackling

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 8 hours in the fridge. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Oven

Instructions: 190°C/ Fan 170°C/ Gas 5 1h 40 mins Remove the netting and place joint in a tray. Cover with foil, taking care not to touch the top of the joint. Place the tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for 1 hour 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and open the foil and carefully pour away any excess liquid, leave foil open to caramelise the fat on top. Return to the oven and cook for a further 10 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Bag. Recycle at large supermarket Carton. Recycle
