Yuk! The caramel was ok but the pink ones and chocolate were disgusting. Such a weird horrible taste. Threw them away.
Sooo much plastic packaging!
Way too much plastic packaging....wouldn’t even think about buying them....sort out your single use plastic problem Tesco!
Awful. I groaned at the first bite. I’d say they were purely decorative. Not a nice taste. The flavours weren’t enjoyable at all. The sponge was tiny and tasted really processed...and the chocolate sponge was really hard. Threw them out. Not what you’d expect from Tesco finest... or at least the finest that I remember.
I know that they are described as mini, but they are tiny, hors-d'oeuvre size. Taste ok though.
They look pretty, I'll give you that.....
Well, they said 'mini' and I guess that covers minute. The sponge is 1cm deep, if that. They look pretty enough. You could put them out for the posh neighbours if we ever get to the stage that we're allowed visitors again. The flavours are a bit 'out there' for my taste. That's the trouble with online groceries, you can't see it what's in it without going into all the details. If I had picked them up off the shelf, I would have put them straight back. Chocolate - okay, I like chocolate. The gold flakes on top were unusual, but you can't go too far wrong with chocolate. Salted Caramel - why? Can you not just leave a smidgen of caramel 'unsalted'? Stop letting the food police dictate everything you produce. (see also pulled meat and mixed leaves instead of proper lettuce) Then, you had, what I can only assume was some kind of aberration after too many episodes of GBBO and we ended up with Rhubarb and Rose - I have no words. As someone else said, tasted like soap.
Pink ones taste like soap
Pretty but not for us.
Look gorgeous and the chocolate cupcakes are delicious. We don't like salted caramel so can't comment on those. The rose and rhubarb however we absolutely disgusting and overpowering. In the bin they went.
