A nice-looking cheap kettle, lid is a bit funny, not opening fully, but a good addition to the kitchen, hopefully it will last
Terrible design
The spout has a ridiculously broad shape which causes a clumsy pour of water. Furthermore, the lid has an appalling design, whereby pressing the button only opens it for just about to allow the cold water tap to fill it. The lid can be pushed back a further but, due to no handle being included, this compromises the hygiene. Even when the small lid is fully open, small hands are required for internal cleaning. Who are they employing to design this rubbish??

Bought this about 6 months ago, not that impressed. Takes an age to boil, lots of dripping/spillage when pouring and it's getting increasingly difficult to open the lid now (button very stiff).
Attractive, practical and reasonably priced
Great product. Beautiful design and looks great overall. Illuminated water level gives an accurate measurement. Not too noisy when boiling. Have bought a second one to keep as spare. Don’t know of life expectancy of this kettle as yet, but would recommend a back up just in case.
Pretty but uneconomical and not eco-friendly.
A very nice looking kettle at a very good price. It let’s itself down though in that the minimum fill is .75l, the equivalent of a standard bottle of wine. In addition it recommends in the instructions, that any left over water be poured out before using again. So, if I want to make just one cup of tea then I have to boil 3/4 litre of water and then pour out any left over. Wasteful of both water and electricity and thus not eco-friendly. Money-wise, what I saved on the purchase I’m losing on my electricity and water bills. Such a shame. I just wish I’d paid more attention to the economics of its usage before I bought.
Modern & easy to use..Great kettle...
Good quality..easy to use handle..push button to open lid..As a left hander would like a window on both sides,that's just being picky!!! On off switch a little flimsy,fine if your careful....Would look good in any kitchen...Better than brand names I've used before...Well done Tesco...

Great quality kettle
Pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this kettle for the price paid, the filler indicator illuminates when you switch on which is a bonus too.
Great kettle
I really like this kettle. Our old one (Tesco's rapid boil) wasn't in stock so we bought this one. The handle is comfortable to hold, it pours nicely and is easy to fill. Because the base is flat it sits easily on it and doesn't wobble. If there was one gripe it would be that the on/off switch feels a little flimsy but treated with care I can't see it being a problem. Oh, and one more thing...it looks really nice. Thanks Tesco :)
