Preparation and Usage

  • Create your own Parma Violets Cupcakes
  • Just add butter, milk and egg
  • Baking Time 12 mins
  • Preparation guidelines: Adult supervision recommended
  • For the cake you will need:
  • 1 medium size egg
  • 30g of melted unsalted butter
  • 20ml of semi skimmed milk
  • For the icing mix you will need:
  • 80g of softened unsalted butter
  • 10ml of semi skimmed milk
  • 1 Pre-heat the oven to 160°C fan assisted (180°C conventional, Gas mark 4). Place the cupcake cases into a muffin tray.
  • 2. Empty the cake mixture sachet into a mixing bowl, add 1 medium egg, 30g of melted unsalted butter and 20ml of milk. Bring the mixture together with a spoon then beat for 3 minutes.
  • 3. Using the cupcake cases you placed in the muffin tray, divide the cake mixture equally between the six cases.
  • 4. Bake in the centre of the pre-heated oven for approximately 12 minutes.
  • 5. Once baked, remove from the oven and place onto a wire cooling rack and leave to cool.
  • 6. Tip the icing mix in to a bowl and mix in 80g of softened unsalted butter and 10ml of milk, beat until smooth and light.
  • 7. Fill a piping bag fitted with a nozzle (not supplied) with the icing and decorate the tops of the six cupcakes.
  • 8. Finish off by adding the Parma Violets sweets using the image as a guide.
