No flavour
I was so disappointed expected the apple slices to taste of apple. However it didn't, tasted watery and diffinately not of apple. Blindfolded you wouldn't know what you were eating.

Too hard, even after cooking, not pleasant to eat.

Unexpectedly tasty & firm slices of apple
I bought a couple of these in 2020 when the supply chain issue meant I couldn't get the pineapple slices I usually buy, they sat on the shelf for a while because they didn't seem very appealing, finally opened them and wow, lovely firm apple slices, no stringy bits or anything, the only downside is there wasn't much juice in the can. If you like other canned fruit, definitely check these out, the cans are also quite large so one of these lasted me two days. Underrated gem, especially if like me fresh fruit doesn't always agree with you.
worst I have ever purchased
worst apple that i have ever purchased, doesn't taste anything like apple and very hard even after cooking.
Best for apple pies
Good quality, makes amazing apple pies, always have them in my cupboard.
I keep these in the store cupboard
These are great. Full of fruit, I usually have to drain tinned fruit if I'm using it in a cake but these had a few teaspoonfuls if that. I make apple cake with them - layered in between the sponge with demerara sugar on top. So much easier than fresh Bramley's which I save for crumbles when it's worth the effort. These hold together really well in the cake rather than go mushy which fresh apple can.
Tin packed full of apple slices, very tasty, very
Tin packed full of apple slices, very tasty, very good value.
Dreadful!
These are the very worst apple slices. I always bought Tesco apple slices for my pies and when I bought these ones I gave them to the foodbank :-( Sainsburys does the old type ones much better .
