I was surprised at how bad these are given that Haagen Dazs products are usually excellent. They tasted like a poor substitute - hardly any flavour and really poor quality chocolate. I will not buy these again.
Got to try these they’re amazing!
These are amazing - perfect combo of sweet toffee with just a hint of saltiness. I’m not a big fan of too much salt (and I actually reviewed the Tesco salted caramel ice cream as being too salty :/) so I was surprised to see a couple of reviewers say that they’re too salty - I’m guessing they must’ve changed the recipe for they’re just soooo good :)
This is no match to a Magnum or even Tesco’s own brannd. It tastes like milky ice and the chocolate has no flavour.
Tesco ones much better was so so sweet! Very disappointed
Very nice, caramel inside the ice cream and small pieces blow chocolate layer. Def best ice cream stick i have had. i would say to large for small children
If you love Haagen Daz, you'll want to try this.
Absolutely heavenly. In the hot weather this was such a treat to look forward to every day.
A little too salty.
I usually like salted caramel flavour but these are too salty for my personal taste.
Not up to much
I expected these to be a really tasty luxurious ice cream. How disappointing. The ice cream has no flavour whatsoever, not even vanilla. The very thin chocolate coating has a few nuts sprinkled on, nowhere near the amount shown on the picture. Where is the salted caramel? I'm only glad I only paid half price: I would have been livid if I'd paid full price. Shan't bother again.
Expected great things but these were oddly greasy, left a horrid film on the roof on my mouth
I am a HUGE peanut butter fan so was excited to try these but was sadly disappointed. They have a nice smooth, creamy centre but the ice cream is very sweet and mainly tastes of the thick caramel sauce that runs through the middle. There are shards of peanut in the ice cream but they aren’t salty and you can’t really taste them. The peanuts in the ice cream add texture but that’s it as they don’t provide any flavour. I also found the chocolate to be incredibly thin, quite cloying & no where near the standard of a magnum or for a product of this price point. I couldn’t taste any salty flavour at all and simply found the whole thing overpoweringly sweet. The glazed almond magnums are much more enjoyable even if you were looking for a peanut product.
