The perfect quick win
This was a great quick win, i added creme fraise instead of double cream for a lighter version. Its a very rich deep flavoured sauce and doesn't need cream. We had it as a veggie option over mushrooms.
Much too salty
Beware: cooked mushroom version using one pot of this paste plus the correct amount of cream. It was so salty we were unable to complete our meal. I’ve drunk well over a litre of water since & can still taste the salt. Second little pot has gone in the bin. Such a waste as I adore mushroom stroganoff.
