Keep in the fridge. Mine went off in a normal kitchen cupboard. It did not come chilled and is described as a 'shelf' product. Only when I investigated the smell did I read that it may go off in warm conditions.

About time,you had cake,listed for ages,but no salt fish.As soon as I saw it listed,I ordered,and just hoped it would arrive.Its good salt fish ,to make Jamaica’s national dish.Ackee&salfish.you need to soak the salt fish.wash it off,flake it .put some oil in a pan,scotch bonnet pepper lots of onions,garlic,black pepper,little all season.,ad sailfish.bring to light boil caked,not smashing it.drain,add to salt fish ,cook for mayb 15.20 mins.serve with rice,hardoe bread,...I’ve never been soooooo happy,thank you.go on line,for different ways to cook,I used to make salt fish fitters for a client,she loved them,make a batter,add ground pepper to mix.flake salt fish and lots of onions into batter,fry in hot oil,few mins,turning ...you can add jerk seasoning to give extra kick.well done,you sell a lot of Jamaican food in london,finally its reached our Scottish shores
