Ignore all the low reviews, they have a peasants taste palette. I really like them and so does my partner :)
worst burgers I've ever tried
Not for me
I found these to be very dry and crumbly, definitely not for me. However, they did have a strong flavour of spice, I wouldn’t necessarily say there is much of a peanut flavour though. There is a hint of it, but I would say it’s more of a curry flavour.
In my view these let the Plant Chef range down!
I was disappointed and nearly gave just two stars because these just don't measure up to the rest of the range I've tried. The taste wasn't unpleasant but I only tasted spice. The presentation doesn't help. If the 'first taste of a dish is with the eye' then this didn't stand a chance. It didn't look very palatable at all. If you are tempted to try it in a bun you might need one of those plastic bibs with a 'catcher' as it just fell apart. Please, please, please bring back the individual Broccoli nut roasts!
Quite dry, lacking seasoning, but peanutty!
Very dry - has good peanut flavour though and edamame are there, but a bit solid and dry consistency. The burger would benefit from some more seasoning and a way of making it retain its moisture, as dries up when oven cooked. It's a great idea and different from the usual burger replacements, and may need some little bit of tweaking to make it a juicy burger!
Definitely a winner I’m trying to eat well withou
Definitely a winner I’m trying to eat well without so much meat so have started trying the Plant Chef range. These were delicious. They had a lovely taste, were full of peanuts and will definitely buy again!!
