Excellent quality and flavour.
Excellent quality and flavour, it’s always been my experience that this product remains very usable for days beyond the sell by date.

3 tough long stem, but without the top who knows what this was, threw it in bin wasnt even worth cooking it. Zero quality control. it doesnt matter how cheap it is, if you cant eat it then its too expensive and a waste of money.
Disappointed
I purchased this last week and it was all thick stem and very little florets of broccoli. Very very disappointing. Will not buy it again.
Tasty & tenser stems of broccoli
I buy this every week and it can sometimes be a little past it's best which means I cook it on the day it's delivered. On the whole though, tender and tasty.
Such poor quality!
I was sent this item as a substitute for asparagus! Yes, I was just as dumbfounded too!!!! It was from Kenya and had hardly any heads but was more like a bunch of sticks. Best before date was 3 days after delivery but it was already in a bad condition.
Quality food, excellent flavour
Surprised by the negative comments in other reviews. I find these cook beautifully, are full of flavour and hardly any waste. Quality food.

Steam it for a tender stem.
I think most people are missing the point about this vegetable. The clue is in the name - 'stem'. If you want florets buy calabrese or sprouting broccoli. We steam these and they are tender and delicious.
These had a strange earthy taste.

Buck up Tesco
They are all stalks, ie. no top at all now I even find bare stalks in the packs - to make up the weight I guess
