Better than Warburtons!
I love these crumpets - so much better than the Warburtons ones!
No difference
To be honest I may has well bought the cheaper crumpets as I didn’t taste any difference I’ve been told so many times how these are lovely I should buy them but nah not for me
Excellent, very tasty
Excellent, very tasty
Not slowly fermented like true sourdough
I'm fairly sure that these aren't true sourdough, they just have some sourdough starter added and are then made in the usual fast fashion. The crumpets are a con! Avoid these. "6 Crumpets made with sourdough. Made with a slowly fermented sourdough for a rich flavour."
Disappointing
Sometimes I think adding the word 'finest' to a product is just a ruse to get us to pay more. These are unremarkable and flavourless. The ordinary crumpets are much nicer.
Don't see the point of them.
Utterly unremarkable, flavour not as appealing as Tesco's cheap ones, which are fine. Also they didn't cook/toast through as the cheaper ones do, sort of a bit soggy in the middle. Ah well at least I tried them!
Save your money and get the cheap ones.
As a permium product, these disappoint. They are by no means horrible but they are thinner and dryer than I would like. In fact I bought a pack of ordinary Tesco "not finest" crumpets at the same time for comparison and enjoyed those much more. This surprised me as they were almost 1/4 the price and a day closer to their best before date.
Tasteless
Tasteless and a waste of money
Too sweet for just butter
Far too sweet for me. I've enjoyed these in the past because they have a good texture but really the flavour isn't pleasant. Has the recipe changed?
Tasty
Lovely crumpets, we enjoyed them with a bit of peanutbutter or nutella on them.
