Eat with plenty of butter
Delicious.
Delicious and good alternative to other crumpets. Why is it so often unavailable. Please address the availability issue.
Enjoyed by all the family
These are really tasty with the added health benefits of sourdough.
Good but expensive
I could not taste any difference between these crumpets and Tesco's standard crumpets, so not worth paying the extra price in my opinion. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with them and I enjoyed eating them.
Lovely!
I think these must be like crumpets as they were meant to be originally. They are not full of air and are actually tasty.
Sourdough? Really?
These looked normal, perhaps a little thinner than ordinary crumpets, and toasted just the same. HOWEVER, they tasted overwhelmingly sweet, heavy, and not like sourdough at all. Ate two and put the others in the bin. A shame, as 'Tesco Finest' items are usually very good. I shall not be buying these again, but sticking to Warburtons 9's for flavour and lightness.
Nice but too sweet for me
Nice texture, good height, toasted well. For me, they didn't stand out enough to buy again, as to my taste they seemed more sweet than sour, and the sweetness lingered for quite a while afterwards, overwhelming the salty butter I'd used. I feel they'd be more suitable for someone wanting a sweet treat than a savoury one.
Not to my taste
Not to my taste..like eating rubber
Stodgy!
The ordinary ones are MUCH nicer.
great crumpets
