Waste of money.
There is absolutely nothing 'Finest' about these beans anymore, on washing there were a lot I threw away wilted, bruised, off and damaged and they cook differently too they used to be the best but they have taken a huge hit just like everything else from the 'Finest' range since competing with Aldi cheap prices! The quality of all the food from Tesco has significantly dropped in order to make them cheap. I never thought I'd become a supermarket snob but I'm off to a more upmarket store where the food is better quality, I'd rather pay them for a delivery pass so I'm off to cancel mine here.
Thought I would try this product being the finest . Absolutely disgusting. Worst taste ever .
Avoid - these are definitely not extra fine beans - more like what you'd expect from the budget version, totally over-priced for what they are. This is a rip-off Tescos.
This is for your attention.
Extra fine beans should be thin and tender. The pack I bought recently were of the normal - and cheaper - quality.
It states Finest Extra Fine Beans you are kidding!
These used to be trimmed and the same length, as they should be, both ends now only one end is trimmed and they are all diff. lengths
trimmed extra fine beans
fine trimmed beans. I buy them every week a bit more expensive but never disappoints !
So much better than the redmere farm ones. These are firm, bright green and never flimsy. They have a lovely taste as well. Worth the extra expense.
Really poor quality. Delivered on 21st for Christmas day, best before date was 27th, they were all brown on Christmas morning, so couldn't make the dish I had planned.
Not to my taste, mauvais arriere gout
Strange taste, as other have said. Prefer Redmere own-brand beans, at a great price advantage too. I dont mind the "work" of cutting off the ends!
Always happy with these. No strings, the children eat them without a fuss.
