Don't waste your money
This is the first time I've written a supermarlet food review but these are terrible. They look like plastic and are hard in the packet and even harder after baking. They don't taste bad as they don't really taste of anything. I don't like to throw food away but I with these I had to. I'll stick to the Schar ciabatta rolls
These rolls contain NO rice flour which is so rare
I am intolerant to wheat/gluten, egg and rice flour so these rolls are the only free from bread like product I can eat! They are a god send!! I usually just cut in half and put in the toaster so I can actually have something that resembles toast! The Tesco’s I have close doesn’t always stock them so I always buy extra, they are perfect for freezing. Thank you Tesco’s for making a product different from the rest!
No gluten, no rice flour, no eggs.
Not easy to find bread products that do not contain wheat/gluten or rice flour nor eggs, all of which my daughter is intolerant to. I keep a pack of these in the freezer for when she visits. They crisp up nicely once baked. She did mention that she wished she could get sliced bread made to this recipe as she misses being able to have toast!
O am very fussy and these are delightful with bacon yummmm x
Loved these. They baked beautifully and tasted so fresh a real treat, not tasted a roll like this for years and years. Will def buy again
I was so happy to see an egg free product but unfortunately these are nowhere near as nice as the schar rolls. This is like eating a tasteless kitchen sponge. Literally. A dense foamy sponge texture. Might be nice toasted but I haven't tried them that way. I got mine for free from a friend but I won't be buying them
Wouldn’t buy again
Not nice at all. Although could just be my taste buds. Very hard when cooked and bread was like a Car sponge.
Buy 'Brown Ciabatta Schar' instead.
Didn't enjoy these at all. Much Prefer the brown ciabatta rolls, they lovely. Shame tesco free from usually great. Favourite m & s brown pre sliced bloomer. expensive but the best free from I've had.
Not very good, texture solid, poor taste.
Horrible - so disappointing
No disrespect to the previous reviewers but I found both the taste and smell of these rolls completely unpalatable. It was so unexpected because I normally find the Tesco brand GF bread the most acceptable of the ones on offer. Thankfully I've almost forgotten what real bread tastes like!! Needless to say the rolls were consigned to the bin.
