Great Beef Pie!
Excellent Beef and Wine pie I cannot see how any bad reviews are justified! Meat is tender great pastry and flavour and good value to!
Dreadful
Hard Pastry, Underseasoned filling and an acidic taste of fake red wine make this the worst pie I have ever had
Awful taste and smell.
This pie looked amazing but the taste was beyond weird. Neither my husband nor I liked it, it has a strange, horrible smell to it and we could not eat it. I cook with red wine a lot but have never tasted or smelt anything like this. Disappointed as this was our dinner tonight and we just had potatoes and veg.
Very poor product, nothing like packaging details
Yet another fail for a Tesco flaky pastry product. Was expecting featherlight, tasty pastry. Was decidedly underwhelmed by rock hard, tough, flavourless pastry and measly, mushy filling. Whoever is responsible for the recipe for Tesco flaky pastry - should go back to their mixing bowl? Would not buy again.
Best pie
No idea why this has bad reviews maybe different regions because ours has loads of meaty chunks and crispy pastry. Our favourite pie we have ever had!!
VERY POOR
Very disappointing for a 'premium ' product. This item should really be labelled as a a 'gravy pie' as the meat content is virtually non-existent. Some serious quality control needs to be exercised by Tesco or a new supplier found before the brand is irreparably damaged.

There was plenty of tasty filling and the pastry was lovely and flaky.
Horrid
Bought this as part of dine in for a tenner. Absoultely horrible. The pastry was soggy at the bottom and the meat was very tough. The worst pie I have ever bought
Tough meat
Very poor quality meat, tough and not much of it, poor value not finest quality
Taste was ok, not really a red wine flavour but no
Taste was ok, not really a red wine flavour but not offensive. However, the beef was like shoe leather, totally inedible. Will not be buying this again. This is not your finest.
