Great stuff, buttery, light and lasts long. If you’re not vegan, I’d recommend!
Not suitable for vegans
I am vegan and used to enjoy this vegan butter, but it has now added milk to the recipe and I can no longer eat it. They didn't make it clear on packaging either!
Great
The best Buttery Spread
My review wasn't collected as part of a promotion
Sneaky to add buttermilk and barely change the packaging, very poor form Flora, very poor.
Not as nice as it was!
The taste of this has changed recently and not for the better. It makes me feel sick if too much of it used on sandwiches. It's a shame as the whole family used to like this. I will be trying alternatives. Also, I've noticed most of the positive reviews are 'collected as part of a promotion', so a bit unreliable if you ask me. Probably Flora/Tesco trying to increase the star rating after all the bad reviews!
This has added buttermilk so no longer non dairy
Flora Buttery has been ruined by the sly addition of buttermilk, which turns it from a non dairy spread to a normal spread. There are few enough nice non dairy spreads available from Tesco especially as I have not been able to get Vegan Flora for months.
Flora ruins buttery.
Flora have destroyed what was once the best vegan butter alternative on the market by turning it into a generic dairy spread! Truly awful product.
Not Vegan
It used to be the best vegan margarine on the market. Very, very disappointing to realise that it is now not vegan.
Flora bows to pressure from the dairy industry
This product used to be suitable for vegans. Very disappointed that the manufacturer bowed to pressure from the dairy industry and added a totally unnecessary product made from cow's breast milk. Nobody is buying their vegan alternatives. Voting with our feet.
Buttermilk makes no difference, so why add it?
I ate this when they had a vegan recipe, and they changed it so quickly and secretly that I had accidentally been eating the nonvegan recipe for about a day or two. I honestly could not taste the difference, I wouldn't have known it had changed if I didn't notice the very subtle change in the packaging. Completely pointless adding buttermilk as it's just unhealthy and doesn't add anything or change the flavour at all. Just sounds like a few nonvegans that wanted the milk back because they never actually tried the vegan one and didn't want to.
