Don't know what they taste like as when i broke one, I found a hair baked into it. it was from fabric, not a living thing. but still, not very palatable. I had put lots Bailey's Pouring Cream on it as well, so that was wasted :-(
Why ruin a loved mince pie?
Incredibly disappointing. The pastry top has changed to a thicker, harder recipe which is cheaper to produce. The result is a harder mince pie with less filling. It was a huge mistake to change a well loved mince pie to this cheaper version. Won't be buying again.
Sadly changed the pastry recipe
Unfortunately they have changed the recipe from last year - the pastry is now thick and stodgy and no longer deliciously sweet and crumbly. These were the tastiest mince pies around (and I used to recommend to everyone and get through boxes of them) but unfortunately will have to try other brands as these are no longer as good as they once were!
Why are they still using palm oil !!
They taste ok but why are they still using palm oil. None in Tesco Finest mince pies
Delicious pastry and tasty mincemeat
Lovely mince pies with a soft crumbly pastry and a tasty Christmassy mincemeat filling. A fantastic piece at a reasonable price
Very good quality. Bit more filling otherwise very good value
